In the first show of the Voice's broadcasting year, #68 highlights the five-show 2017-18 season in store for the American Repertory Theater of WNY. Local actors include Brett Klaczyk, Michael J Starzynski, Candice Kogut, Rick Lattimer, Anthony Alcocer and Casey Moyer. Playwright David Moran also chats about his original work AN INCH SHORT & A DAY LATE. Directors Catherine Burkhart and Nick Lama discuss the local playwrights' showcase THE RAIN DOGS PROJECT. Read excerpts from works include Mark Humphrey's ROOMMATES, Moran's work and Matthew LaChiusa's IT COLD AND THERE'S NO MUSIC. The Voices also dedicates a final portion of show #68 to the August 23rd anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
